One Dozen Chicken Eggs

Have you ever heard that old adage, “You are what you eat”? We firmly believe that saying should be, “You are what you eat eats”! We begin with our happy flock of hens, who lay eggs in many variations of white, brown, blue and green. Our girls are treated to locally grown grain, as well as grass and bugs. The nutrition that they are getting from local feed is evident in the rich orange hue of the yolks and the thick, fluffy white. Once you try a fresh egg, you will never buy grocery store eggs again!
Though not certified, all eggs and poultry from Lasher Meadows is grown using organic methods, being fed fresh, locally-grown grain, farm fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and insects.
