Whole Soup Chickens

What is a soup chicken? Unlike our Whole Roaster chickens, these are birds that have had a chance to fully mature, therefore developing the necessary ingredients in BONE BROTH  - marrow, bone and fat. These birds have enjoyed a happy life on the farm but have now come to the end of their usefulness. If you put one in the oven, you’d have a piece of rubber; however, simmering gently over many hours will draw out all of the nutrition and flavor that makes bone broth such a miracle substance - ***bone broth is a rich, nutritious food that contains protein, collagen, and minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. It may help improve bone and joint health, promote weight loss, and improve your hair, skin, and nails.*** Use bone broth in any recipe in place of water or stock.
